Actually working in the morning from 0930 to 1330 的 then meet Angelina at Simei after work to bake Dear's birthday cake, but ended up i asked my boss to cover me as Angelina needs to attend friend's birthday party in the evening and the cake needs some time to bake so afraid not enough time =x
Meet Angelina 0930 at Simei MRT control station. Went to Red Man and NTUC to buy cake ingredients and headed to her house. I baked 2 birthday cakes for Dear.....Oreo Cheesecake and Chocolate Cake as he said that day around 35 ppl will go =) Angelina stood beside me and taught me the steps... ...Have fun baking the cakes! First, i crushed the oreo biscuits then spreaded on the tray to make a base. Then, bake the mixture. While waiting for the cake to bake, we went to do the template for the wording, and cut out the words, so that we can sprinkly the icing sugar on top of the paper. After 1 hour, the cake is cake is finally done. We waited for the cake to cool down before putting it into the fridge. After 30 mins, we took out to spread the oreo biscuit on top of the cake. Then sprinkle the icing sugar. The sprinkle part was the most difficult part as the words could not see properly and i redo 3 times =( After that, we put back the cake into the fridge... ...
As for the chocolate cake, whisked the mixture then baked it. We baked 2 times as the cake i making 2 layers. While waiting for the cake to bake, Angelina helped me to melt the chocolate while i sift the mixture. After 2 layers have finished baking, we spreaded the chocolate on top and the side of the cakes. After finished spreading, i decorated the cake by adding mini heart, so that it did not look so brown haha =x But still not enough, so i decided to add strawberry tml hahaha =D After that, into the refrigerator =) Done!!!
After that, took bus home to take my chalet stuffs. Then meet Dear Dear, his mummy and brother to have dinner at Chong Pang. After finished our dinner i went home to bathe first while they shopped around. After that, headed to boss's house to get the chocolate Fondue set. Then, home sweet home =)
