Left work 3.5hrs earlier today and headed towards AMK to do x-ray for my wisdom tooth. After which, i took train down to Causeway Point to visit Raffles Dental. Dr. Jeremy (dentist) asked if i would like to extract my wisdom tooth today since i'm flying off to Taiwan on the 18th July, at least by then, my gum will almost recover fully. Did not mentally prepared, but come to think of it, today or tml extract still the same, why not do it earlier right? Therefore, i rang my daddy up and asked him to come over, at least after the surgery he can drive me back home.
Before the surgery commenced, Dr. Jeremy explained the risk and what were the process. to me During the surgery, a lot of pushing were done and i felt pressure. Not only that, he drilled my tooth so that is easier for him to pluck out. After that, he sewed back my gum *eeeyer* i can felt the pulling of the thread. Throughout the whole surgery, i shivered and tears rolled down from my eyes unknowingly. Both Dr. Jeremy and nurse were so nice, patience and gentle that they kept encouraging me by saying 'dear, u are doing fine. halfway through already, just a little bit more'. After the surgery, i felt a bit dizzy. Rested awhile before a small x-ray was done to make sure my wisdom tooth has completely extracted ;)
Nurse helped me to put my wisdom tooth into a bag so that i could bring it home to show mummy, siblings and baby haha. omg!!! a small part of my gum was still sticking on the tooth *faint*
I would like to thank Dr. Jeremy and nurse for their patience, gentle-ness and encouragement throughout the whole surgery. I felt secured when the nurse held my hand when Dr. Jeremy injected the anaesthetic into my gum. She also said 'dear, if u feel the pain, just squeeze my hand as hard as u want ya'. Really appreciated and touched ;D *good service, thumb up*
Not long ago when i reached home, baby came to my house and bought a big bag of durian -.- thanks ah knowing that i cant eat but still bought specially for my mummy haha :x
